About Author W. C. Madden

I’ve spent over 40 years working as a journalist, author, and editor, and I bring all of that experience into every project I take on. I started writing professionally in the U.S. Air Force in 1976 and retired as a master sergeant in 1986. Since then, I’ve written for newspapers and magazines, published more than 45 books-including works on baseball, local history, and fiction-and helped other authors bring their stories to life. I still write for a daily newspaper and a quarterly magazine, and I also work part-time as a video specialist for Monticello Christian Church. My passion is helping local writers through every step of the publishing process, face-to-face, right here in White County.
